Political bust up over inquiry into Huddersfield grooming gang

When I first published Easy Meat nearly five years ago, it culminated with me saying 1) a Public Inquiry was needed, 2) censorship would make things worse, 3) since Muslims don't care about our laws, then a new law is needed to punish these rape gangs. In 2015 PM Cameron said his government would introduced laws that would criminally prosecute negligent social workers and police. I predicted that he was merely electioneering and he would never do this.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid is to be asked to investigate the child sexual exploitation scandal that has tarnished the reputation of Huddersfield.

But there is concern that expanding the scope to look at the whole of England will effectively dilute scrutiny of what occurred in Kirklees.

20 men have been jailed this year over the grooming and sexual abuse of vulnerable, isolated and underage girls as young as 11 or 12.

The men were found guilty of child sex offences including rape, inciting child prostitution and abduction of a child.

They were sentenced to more than 200 years in prison. Reporting restrictions were lifted last month.

It is the worst scandal to ever hit the town.

There was anger in the council chamber at Huddersfield Town Hall on Wednesday evening as Labour and Conservative councillors argued over the direction an independent judicial inquiry might take.

Tory group leader Clr David Hall said any inquiry should be wholly independent, held in public and outside the jurisdiction of the council and its partners.

His colleague Clr Nigel Patrick (Holme Valley South) exhorted fellow councillors to face up to their shared responsibilities.

"It is time Kirklees Council and West Yorkshire Police recognised their responsibility to the victims and the parents, and backed a comprehensive judge-led public inquiry into what went wrong."

And he raised concerns that Dr Mark Peel, the independent chair of Leeds Children's Safeguarding Partnership who has been asked to undertake a review, was "too close" to partner organisations and "cannot be regarded as impartial".

A Labour amendment to a motion submitted by Tories David Hall and Michael Watson removed a specific reference to Kirklees.

Why Muslims Kill For Islam

My new book (co-authored with Tommy Robinson) was published at the end of July 2017.  The book went straight to No.1 on Amazon, and stayed there for 4 days (that is, until the entire print-run of 5000 copies ran out).

`The Koran, Decoded

The book is now back in stock and you can buy the book here: http://www.mohammeds-koran.com/store

Or you can read the 100s of five-star reviews the book received in its first few months on sale.

Considering that Twitter and Facebook have banned me, YouTube has removed entire channels, and Google deliberately promotes Islam in discussions of Islam and terrorism, it's only right to do my social networking on a site that really seems to stand by the concept of freedom of speech.
